BULOVA Nurse’s 1950’s Wrist Watch with Gold Numbers and a Red Second Hand, Mechanical Watch, Vintage Wrist Watch

This is a very nice Women’s 1952 Mechanical Wrist Watch that sports a Red Second Hand with seconds marked off around the edge of the dial. All numbers and the hour and minute hand are all done in Gold. This watch has 17 jewels set within the mechanisms, which provides for a smooth wind and time keeping. This watch also has a magnified beveled crystal that allows you to see the time very clearly. The watch has a rolled gold case and gold filled bracelet or band. The back of the watch is stainless steel (**not certain if the back of the watch is original to the watch). This watch is keeping very good and accurate time.

• Watch is a Bulova L2 watch, which dates it to 1952
• This watch is a common Nurse’s watch because of the second hand, which was not common in most watches of that era
• Watch should fit a wrist that is approximately 6 to 6.5 inches at the most **the issue is not the size of the wrist but getting the watch over you hand
• Condition is Excellent
• Hallmarks are “BULOVA” on the face of the watch and “1/20 12K Gold Filled” on the Bracelet; the name of “Glen” is also engraved on the clasp in cursive, not certain if that is the brand or that it was engraved for the previous owner
